Performance Material - These days everyone likes to use the words (they do sound fancy) but what does it actually mean and what does it do?

Let's dive in:

What makes Performance Material 'performance'? In a nutshell, at Pure Canter we expect this kind of material to be with you and support you wherever your day takes you. This involves being comfortable, stretchy, moisture-wicking, breathable, hard-wearing and durable while looking good. Our material works as hard as you do!

360° Stretch: This is another word for 4-way stretch and allows our material to move with you. Similar to gym tights, it will give you a nice compression feel but is flexible in all directions, so it doesn't cut into your legs, tummy or other lumps-and-bumps which makes it uncomfortable to wear for extended periods.

Moisture-wicking: I'll let you in on a secret - we all sweat while riding and doing chores, - this is where moisture wicking comes into play. Moisture-wicking material has two jobs - quickly moving (wicking) sweat to the fabric's outer surface and the other is drying rapidly to keep you comfortable.

Breathable: Breathable material helps you in staying cool during the warm and humid summer months. It's breathable: Not only do the capillaries allow sweat to flow out, they also allow air to flow in.

Hard-wearing and durable: Being an Equestrian is no walk in the park. We get dirty, dusty, muddy, grubby, pick the hay out of our hair, clothes (even our bras for that matter) and the list goes on. Luckily, our tights stand up to the challenge. Most messes can be quickly rubbed of with your hand to bring the material back during the day when you cannot change into a different outfit. Once washed everything will be restored to its former glory. Easy as pie.

Looking good: Once you put on a pair of Pure Canter tights, looking good will take care of itself. - We are that confident 😉
