Have you heard of Horseball before? It's often referred to as a cross between basketball and rugby or even quidditch - just on horseback! Riding at speed with no hands on the reins or while hanging off the side of your horse isn’t for everyone, but for those who play this unique sport it’s all just part of the game.
And Pure Canter was lucky enough to support not just our local riders, but the U16 Australian Horseball Team for the 2022 Horseball World Cup in France by supplying our Pure Snow Riding Tights.
It was quite the journey with excitement running high. Our team placed 7th overall and was named the ‘Best Fair Play Team’ by the FIHB referees and Appeal Committee. This tells you something about how our team have conducted themselves on and off the pitch! In Australian Horseball we have a ´Best and Fairest Award’ in the John Willcox Memorial Trophy so it was very special that this honour was bestowed upon our team. Well done team!
